These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Eject mobile application ("App"), operated by Nexodule Services LLC. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to create an account and use Eject. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. The Service

Eject is a personal journaling application. It allows you to write short journal entries (up to 280 characters), which are automatically categorized by AI into life areas. The App also provides an AI-powered analysis feature that can answer questions about your journal entries over time. Eject is designed for personal reflection and is not a medical, therapeutic, or counseling tool.

3. AI Features & Accuracy

Certain features — including automatic entry categorization, semantic threading, and journal analysis — are powered by AI language models. These features provide estimates and suggestions, and may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent results. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated categorizations are best-effort suggestions and may not always match your intent.
• AI-generated analysis responses are based on your journal text and may not accurately reflect your life, feelings, or circumstances.
• Eject is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind (medical, psychological, financial, legal, etc.).
• You are solely responsible for reviewing and interpreting any AI-generated content.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Eject offers an optional paid subscription ("Eject Premium") that provides access to additional features including unlimited journal entries, unlimited short analysis, and long-range analysis.

• Plans: Eject Premium is available as a weekly or yearly subscription. Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency within the App.
• Free Trial: A 7-day free trial is included with your first subscription. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and your payment method will be charged.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play or Apple App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to Premium features until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.
• Payment Processing: All payments are processed by Google Play or Apple. Eject does not collect or store your payment card information.

5. Free Tier Limits

Free users are subject to the following usage limits:

• Up to 5 journal entries per day.
• Up to 1 short analysis question per month.

These limits may be adjusted at our discretion. Subscribing to Eject Premium removes these limits.

6. User Accounts & Conduct

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Since Eject uses magic link authentication (email-only, no password), ensure that access to your email account is secure. You agree not to misuse the App or its AI services in any way that could harm the platform or third-party services.

7. Your Content

You retain full ownership of the journal entries, notes, to-dos, and images you create in Eject. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Eject service (including AI categorization and analysis).

8. Intellectual Property

All design, code, branding, and other content within Eject are owned by Nexodule Services LLC or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Eject and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to data inaccuracies from AI features, service interruptions, or loss of data. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the AI services, or engage in activity that threatens the platform's integrity. You may also delete your account at any time from the Settings screen, which will permanently remove all your data.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
